On our latest journey through the countryside of Bulgaria we experimented with ping latency to http://marla.ludost.net/ from 4 different Internet sources:
- A1 LTE via TP-Link mifi
- Vivacom LTE via Punkt tethering
- Local southern Bulgarian village ISP (coax + microwave)
- Starlink
Note: marla.ludost.net resolves to the IPv4 address 185 .117 .82 .66, which geolocates to Sofia, Sofia-Capital province, Bulgaria (≈ 42.6975 °N, 23.3241 °E) and is announced by ASN 200533, Civil Association Init Lab.
