Today we are wondering whether Discourse can be used for Zettelkasten method note taking.
(Earlier this week we found out that Apple Notes can be used for Zettelkasten because it implements a way to links notes using the >> shortcut!)
- Each post could be a Zettel (a note / card)
- Tags can be used to separate the different kinds of cards (Permanent, Fleeting, Literature notes etc.)
- Can we have automatic back links?
- the answer is YES - as shown by the link above - linking between Discourse posts is possible and the target post shows back links!
