Tarsnap is an amazing minimalist tool for archiving your digital assets in the cloud. The authors, [Colin Percival](https://github.com/cperciva) and [Graham Percival](https://github.com/gperciva), are highly revered C programmers and system hackers. Let’s read the code they’ve written to learn how to write exceptional C.

The tarsnap client, per the authors, is [**readable source, but not “open source”**](https://www.tarsnap.com/open-source.html). The client source code is [published on GitHub](https://github.com/Tarsnap/tarsnap) and is available for us to explore and learn from.

This is a wiki that can be edited by anyone!
